Laganside Sinfonia was established in 2012 in Belfast with the aim of promoting local and international young classical musicians at the same time as raising money for worthy causes. In recent years the orchestra has supported the Northern Ireland Hospice and Children's Hospice, the Alzheimer's Society and the Welcome Organisation, raising over £6000! Find out more about us here!
We're delighted to let everyone know that our next concert will be on 9th September 2018 at St Bernard's Church on the Antrim Road at 19:45 for a concert featuring Beethoven's famous Fifth Symphony ! Additionally we'll have solo items for violin and flute with soloists Andrew Douglas, Stephen Rankin and Sarah White!

'A Century On' Soloists
At our upcoming concert we'll have not one, not two, but three soloists! We'll have solo violinists Patrick Rafter and Christopher Quaid performing the Bach Double Violin Concerto and then we'll have clarinettist Eve Wieltschnig to play the Weber Concertino for Clarinet and Orchestra. Largest Concert Collection Yet for Welcome Organisation!
We're delighted to say that our concert on 28th December 2016 was a huge success with £2178 raised for the Welcome Organisation. Thanks especially to our wonderful soloists Fionnuala Ward, Patrick Rafter Sr and Patrick Rafter Jr who displayed the wonderful musical talent that is produced in Ireland.
